Those vibes at 18 tho: real adulthood brings freedom and responsibility. To sum it up: dreams, confusion, and a want to fit in whilst being your individual self. At Loud Speaker, we’ve been there and have advice to make the journey smoother.

1. Enjoy Your Own Company

Being alone without feeling lonely is an art. Be the main character and appreciate your own company, it’s actually a crucial life skill. It’s in these moments that you’ll discover your authentic self, true aspirations and passions. Learn to be content in your own presence – it’s badman energy.

2. Be Selective

You’ve heard it before, but we’ll say it again: “Your Network Is Your Net Worth.” It’s all about the people you surround yourself with. Your circle reflects your own choices and values. Surround yourself with people who inspire, challenge and vibe your victories with you. Remember, it’s better to have a few genuine OG’s than a crowd of fakes.

3. Ask for Help

Asking for help is not a sign of weakness. Fact. Acknowledging you need support shows your strength and self-awareness. The world is full of individuals willing to help and share wisdom. By opening up and seeking advice, you build connections and speed up your path to mastery and success.

4. It’s Not That Deep

Life is not all unicorns and rainbows, but sometimes it’s too easy to get caught up in the moment. Learn to laugh at yourself, shrug off the awkward moments, and recognise that not every misstep is an L. Creating a more positive mindset on life transforms obstacles into opportunities and stories to share.

5. Failure has Value

The fear of failure is too real, but it’s essential for growth. Each setback has a lesson, failure is your First Attempt In Learning. Embrace challenges and enjoy learning and evolving. Success is a journey of continuous improvement and resilience.
